Apple iPhone 8 vs Samsung Galaxy S8!http://www.upcomingmobilephone.com/brands/apple/apple-iphone-8-vs-samsung-galaxy-s8.html Sat, 23 Sep 2017 05:33:53 +0000 http://www.upcomingmobilephone.com/?p=7783 – [Jonathan] Hey guys, Jonathan here Without a doubt Samsung's Galaxy S8 is one of the most impressive phones of 2017 The iPhone 8 however is officially here and with that I think it's time to see how these two stack up side by side Now clearly once you put these phones next to each other in terms of the design, aesthetics and really just overall looks, not to sugarcoat it or anything but the...

– [Jonathan] Hey guys, Jonathan here Without a doubt Samsung's Galaxy S8 is one of the most impressive phones of 2017

The iPhone 8 however is officially here and with that I think it's time to see how these two stack up side by side Now clearly once you put these phones next to each other in terms of the design, aesthetics and really just overall looks, not to sugarcoat it or anything but the Galaxy S8 is miles ahead The iPhone 8 definitely does have some very impressive features, but design wise, it really hasn't changed much over the years So honestly for all intents and purposes, it very well could have been called the iPhone 7S The Galaxy S8 on the other hand is a completely different story

It has this beautiful bezel-less display that looks like it's straight outta the future And I've said it before but I still think the Galaxy S8 is arguably the best looking phone of 2017 Now with the upcoming iPhone X that very well may change that statement for me, but that is different comparison for a different day For now, and especially because both the iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 are very similar in pricing we're gonna focus on these two phones Now regardless, both of these are very impressive devices and I'm sure most of you out there would love to win either of these

So with that you have a chance to win either a brand new Galaxy S8 or iPhone 8, the choice is yours But if you wanna go crazy and we can get to 100,000 likes I will give away both of these So for a chance to win go ahead and check out the link down below But the main thing to do is make sure you subscribe, so if you haven't don't that, make sure you hit that subscribe button Huge shout out to The Walking Dead: No Man's Land for sponsoring this comparison and giveaway

I was actually super excited they wanted to do that because I freaking love The Walking Dead If you guys haven't checked out the game it is turn based action strategy game where you battle those walkers and you can do so with Daryl, Rick, Glenn and even the ninja master with a stick, Morgan Now as much as I love those guys, there's a part of me that can't help but root for Megan and Lucille So if you're a Megan fan too, right now you can download the game which is free in both the App Store and the Play Store before September 30th you get Megan for free This game is super addicting

And if you can't get enough Walking Dead there's a unique storyline written specifically just for this game There are weekly challenges and two huge updates just dropped First is the Distance which is a brand new game mode which is specifically for players which have reached Council Level 18 and this is designed so you can put those skills to the test in a brand new Survival Mode It's a little challenging because characters will not be able to heal in between missions But if you're up for the challenge, it's worth it because new rewards will drop each time the Distance event occurs

This allows you collect components for your mission crates and craft badges for your survivors Both these updates are available now, so make sure you check out the links below And whether you're on team iPhone or team Android if you're a fan of The Walking Dead you're gonna dig this game Now unfortunately with the iPhone 8 it still connects to a lightning port and surprise, surprise does not have a headphone jack So two potential advantages with the Galaxy S8, is one, USB C and two, the fact that you can connect a pair of wired headphones without any adapter

Now another potential advantage with the Galaxy S8 is MicroSD card expandability Now I don't want to turn this into an iOS versus Android war For me I've never really felt the need to store anything on a MicroSD card but for some it may be big deal and if that's the case, that is clearly where the Galaxy S8 has one up Some of you might notice that both the iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 feature an all glass back Now that's because both of these feature wireless charging

Clearly this isn't anything new to Samsung or the Galaxy line up It is however brand new to the iPhone 8 They're using a wireless Qi standard and not some proprietary crap So the fact that it's finally here on the iPhone is only gonna help wireless charging become further adopted and that is better for everybody The one thing mention though in terms of fast charging or quick charging, that is something you get right out of the box with the Galaxy S8 whereas with the iPhone 8 you're going to need to spend nearly $100 in accessories just to get that which is kinda crazy

So definitely a plus one to Samsung for providing Quick Charge out of the box, and unfortunately in typical Apple fashion, you're gonna pay more for adapters and accessories For me though, whether I'm on Android or iPhone I'm usually plugged into an Anker PowerBank or wall charger so I've never really felt like my phone needs to charge faster This is their brand new PowerCore II which packs 20,000 mAh of juice inside, so battery for days It really doesn't matter which device you're on, it just works and it works well So if you're interested in checking on out, I would drop a link down below

Now from there, jumping into displays It is not even close The Galaxy S8 here is the clear winner It features a beautiful and I mean beautiful 58 inch Super AMOLED display

It's bright it's colorful, it's vibrant and the lack of bezels kinda just makes you wanna stare in awe at it, and there is really no other word to describe it than impressive With the display Samsung also did a fantastic job of implementing a virtual home button into the screen and it just works really well The downside to that is that Samsung could not implement the finger print reader into the display so in turn it is located awkwardly on the back next to the camera which I'm still not a fan of Unlike the iPhone X, the iPhone 8 does however have a fingerprint reader or Touch ID up front so in terms of that, I definitely prefer the iPhone 8 That though unfortunately does not help the iPhone 8's display when stacked up side by side against the Galaxy S8

Now the iPhone 8 is not a bad display by any means Its got a beautiful white color gamut, bright, true tone, actually works really well but it just kinda pales in comparison in both size and resolution It is a 47 inch display with a 750P resolution And again when you stack it side by side against the Galaxy S8 it's not even close

So while the display is a clear advantage to the Galaxy S8 if we look under the hood, the iPhone 8 might surprise you Yes, the Galaxy S8 has an eight core processor and I've seen people make fun of the iPhone 8, the iPhone X for finally getting a six core processor But the fact is the A11 Bionic chip is nuts Stacked up side by side against the Galaxy S8 it completely smashes and obliterates it The big thing with that A11 chip is that when it needs to it's gonna utilize all six of those cores at the same time whereas with the Galaxy S8, it is actually two pairs of quad core processors

That in turn is why the iPhone 8 and especially in multi-core performance does so well And just for reference that is on par with a 13 inch MacBook Pro which is crazy in terms of a smartphone Again, I don't want to turn this into a war or negate how awesome the Galaxy S8 is, because it is a fantastic, beautiful, really fast phone But in terms of performance, it is clear that Apple is miles ahead From there I wanna jump over to cameras because honestly that is probably one of the most important features to pretty much everybody out there

Both the iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 feature 12MP shooters on the back and in terms of performance goes as far as photography, both do an amazing job The showcase that I think these two pictures here are a prime example of why that is the case, this was shot on the Galaxy S8 which is an amazing picture but if we hop over to the iPhone 8, it is pretty much equally as impressive I'm not sure which I like more but I think either way you would not be disappointed with either of these Same thing here with these pictures, I think the iPhone 8 does a fantastic job of capturing the highlights, the shadows, not over blowing the sunset But it's pretty much the same thing on the Galaxy S8

The only advantage I would say the S8 has with this picture over here is if we crop it and zoom in, it does retain sharpness just a little bit better over the iPhone 8 Now into where I prefer the Galaxy S8 over the iPhone 8 is this alpha balance shot right here The iPhone 8, it is every so slightly just a little over washed, a littler over exposed But as we hop over to the Galaxy S8, it kinda just holds everything together better The colors pop more and overall it's just a more pleasing image

From then we move into more of a lower light situation I think both the iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 do a really fantastic job I think with the iPhone 8, you get a more natural true to life image with more accurate colors, whereas with the Galaxy S8 it looks great but it tends to cool things down a bit but overall it was just a sharper image Now as far as the front facing cameras go that hands down goes to the Galaxy S8 I've always liked their wide angle lens

The iPhone has just never really felt wide enough And as you can see as we stack them side by side, both do a really impressive job but I just prefer the look of the Galaxy S8 more Now from there, one clear advantage the iPhone 8 has over the Galaxy S8 is when it comes to video The iPhone 8 will shoot up to 4K at 60 frames per second That's something the Galaxy S8 does not do

So for reference here's an example of both at 4K 30 So we're here on the iPhone 8 testing out 4K 30FPS video Also gonna get a little test out to the stabilization We're gonna walk around, give it a little back and forth Rich with the crispy shirt

Looking good with the tricolors Ralphy holding down the camera And now let's hop over to the Galaxy S8 Holy crop factor, we're here on the Galaxy S8 Moving around again, test out the stabilization

Video quality looks good, I'm curious to see how it reacts a little bit, moving in, grabbing focus That's pretty quick Tricolors one more time It looks crisp here, not gonna lie Back to Ralphy, and lemme know which you think looks better with a comment down below

The other big deal with the iPhone 8 is 1080P 240FPS slow motion video which is crazy Here's a quick example of the 240FPS slow motion video on the iPhone 8 Again, this is not something the Galaxy S8 even does so I can't truly compare apples to apples To make it a little more even here's what 120FPS slow motion video looks like on the iPhone 8 and you can see it does a really amazing job Clearly my rock juggling skills could use some improvement but as we hop over to the Galaxy S8, you can see in terms of clarity and just overall quality it is miles better on the iPhone 8

Now ultimately it really comes down to preference and ecosystem Both of these are fantastic high quality phones The Galaxy S8 is far superior in terms of design, hardware, the display And while the iPhone 8 may not look the most impressive on the outside, it is packing some serious power and impressive features inside With the Galaxy S8 and more specifically Android you're clearly getting more customization, more freedom, more flexibility whereas with the iPhone 8 and more specifically iOS11, yes it can be limiting but in terms of the eco-system the App Store it is second to none

For me, both these are fantastic phones, and again it is a great time to be alive in terms of technology Hopefully this video kinda showcase what is cool about each of these phones and helped you with your choice Aside from that, thank you guys very much for watching If you missed it I just dropped a brand new iPhone 8 Plus versus 8 unboxing and comparison You can check that out here or check out the link below

This is Jonathan and I will catch you guys later (upbeat music)

While the new iPhone 8 did very well beating all other manufacturer's devices in testing by DxOMark, the iPhone 8 Plus is the undisputed champion of all other smartphones ever produced In a review published on Friday, the iPhone 8 Plus was heralded for "under-the-hood upgrades" giving the camera notable improvements in almost every tested category

The iPhone 8 scored 92 points, with the iPhone 8 Plus scoring 94 For comparison, the previous champion was the Google Pixel scoring 90 The biggest improvements have come in the zoom feature in the iPhone 8 Plus Scoring a full five points better than the iPhone 7 Plus in testing, the new iPhone 8 Plus exhibited improved framing and detail presentation over the predecessorAnother five-point gain is gleaned in Bokeh, mostly delivered by the processing power boost in the iPhone 8 Plus

DxOMark wrote "[The iPhone 8 Plus] features outstanding image quality, zoom for those needing to get closer to their subjects, and an industry-leading Portrait mode for artistic efforts," "It is at the top of our scoring charts in nearly every category and in particular, its advanced software allows it to do an amazing job of capturing high-dynamic range scenes and images in which it can recognize faces" The company notes that the iPhone X camera with a wider aperture than the iPhone 8 Plus will be on "the cutting edge of zoom and portrait performance" Still photography and video are combined into one score Breaking out the scores separately, the Google Pixel scored 90 in still photography and 91 in video, with the iPhone 8 Plus coming in at 96 and 89 respectively

– Hey guys, this is Austin A few years ago, I compared the Xbox 360 to the then new iPhone 6 and the results were surprisingly close

But with the iPhone 8 coming out today, how does it stack up to a modern console like the PS4? First, let's take a look at what's inside the iPhone 8 as well as the iPhone X The Apple A11 Bionic chip The A series of SoC's have kind of been on top of the game for awhile now and the A11 is no exception So compared to the iPhone 7, which only had a pair of high performance cores that were available for games, the iPhone 8 as well as X both have not only upgraded high performance cores But you also have four low power cores that can all be used together

Essentially what this means, is that when you're gaming, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X have a six core processor That's not the entire story though The A11 is rocking a brand new Apple designed GPU Now this is a first Previous iPhones, going all the way back to the original, used some sort of Imagination design

Whereas here, they designed their own triple core GPU All this is built on TSMC's latest 10 nanometer process Which means that the A11 has a fairly impressive 43 billion transistors Now compare this to the PS4, which has a design that was originally launched in 2013

So this is using a custom AMD based APU, which not only has eight CPU cores, but also a fairly sizeable GPU On the processor side the PS4 and the Xbox One have very similar designs So essentially, while you do have eight cores, they're pretty weak So based on AMD's Jaguar tech, they're going to be fine for normal use sort of on their own But when you combine eight of them on a single console, it gives you pretty good performance

The PS4 also has a still impressive Radeon GPU which is backed up by eight gigabytes of fast GDDR5 memory So back of the envelope math shows, that the iPhone's CPU is significantly quicker than the PS4 Somewhere in the neighborhood of about 40% faster However, when you take a look at graphics, it is a very different story The iPhone only has about 20% of the graphics power of the PS4

That is a huge difference Now the iPhone is outputting to a much smaller display Which does give it a little bit of leeway as far as the graphics power, but you do have to keep in mind that all this is inside a seven millimeter thick chassis So with only about five watts of TDP, it has to dissipate all of that through the metal and glass design Compare that to the PS4, which has about 90 watts to work with, and it has a heat sync, fan, vents

A lot of stuff that essentially means that the laws of physics are in the PS4's favor Of course on paper specs are one thing but let see how actual games compare First off, we have The Witness A PS4 game that was recently ported to iOS Take a look to see the differences between the two systems

What you should notice is that it is essentially the full experience on both devices The iPhone version is running at a noticeably lower resolution which shouldn't be a huge surprise considering it's on a phone screen And well yes, the graphics settings are not to the same level of the PS4 But the content is absolutely there and honestly it doesn't look hugely different Now I did notice a couple of rendering issues on the iPhone 8, but honestly, once it gets an actual patch to support the 8, hopefully these will be eliminated

Next we have Transistor which is another game that will run cross platform Here again the iPhone resolution is a bit lower and the graphics have been bumped down a notch, but it's still totally playable and honestly not a huge difference between the PS4 version Now especially when you do pair it with a gamepad it really is a very similar gameplay experience Now Minecraft runs on basically everything on Earth, but how do the PS4 and iPhone versions stack up? This is one of the better comparisons for the iPhone Not only is the resolution a lot closer to what you're getting with the PS4 but the graphics settings are similar and especially once you pair it with a controller it feels very similar

Especially with that locked 60 frames per second Continuing on the Minecraft train, we have Minecraft Story Mode A classic Telltale game that of course is going to be running on both the iPhone as well as the PS4 You can notice some differences here so not only are the settings going to be lower but also is definitely not running at that full 1080p of the PS4 But, yet again, it is completely playable on both systems

Although with this one, I would definitely take the PS4 if I had the option To really see what both systems can do, let's take a look at some exclusive games that just simply take better advantage of the hardware So on the PS4 Horizon: Zero Dawn is a huge leap over anything that's available on the iPhone The level of detail, the actual graphics, and of course the gameplay is seriously worth that $60 On the other hand, there are certain games that simply are better suited to the iPhone

Stuff like Monument Valley not only looks great, but also takes great advantage of the touch controls and games like Oz: Broken Kingdom do a really good job of leveraging the power of that A11 chip Like I mentioned earlier, one of the downsides to having this much power in such a small device, is always going to be heat You don't have those fans and vents to be able to pull it away As you have to fully rely on the glass, metal build to dissipate all the heat from the device Now I'll have to do some more throw testing but at least based on first impressions the iPhone 8 does pretty well here

So under an extended 30 minute gaming load, the back of the device actually doesn't even get that warm So is the iPhone 8 as powerful as the PS4? No To be fair, it is catching up surprisingly quickly And for some games the experience isn't far off but the law of physics means that for this time the dedicated game console is going to win out So what do you guys think of the power of the iPhone 8? Let me know in the comments below and I will catch you in the next one

– So the HTC U11 is legit I know this because I've said so

But here's the thing: that wasn't always a given, right The last couple years have been kind of tough on HTC The M10 just– It was kind of a non-starter The M9? That camera was not good And now we have a new phone and a new, weird name

This is the HTC U11 and this is why you're going to want it (upbeat music) So, first, ignore anything you've read or heard about being squeeze this phone to do things Yes, you can, and yes it will, but you don't have to Yeah, it's a gimmick, but for me, it doesn't change a single thing about why this phone is so good You can use it if you want to launch different actions, and that's fine and you can and I'm not

No, start in the back, and just how gorgeous this thing is Look at the mirror finish It's beautiful no matter which color you end up getting You know, the mirror finish is so good I don't even care about the fingerprints and tiny little scratches that have shown up on this one It looks beautiful

For the front, yeah, it's a big black slab of a smart phone Nothing we haven't seen before So the front's also where I run into really my biggest complaint about this phone, and that's the polarization of the screen If you're wearing polarized sunglasses and you're outside in the bright sunlight, you turn it horizontally to take pictures, you're not going to be able to see a thing on the screen I hate that

I makes it nearly worthless outside for me But down on the bottom on the front side we have the fingerprint censor HTC has done these really well for awhile now, and it continues here It's both a fingerprint censor and a home button, and it's got a– It has a back button and recent apps on either side Totally the way to do it if you're going to put the fingerprint censor on the front

Works really well and HTC's nailed it here So HTC also is back to having strong dual speakers on this phone Now, they're maybe not as good as the early days, the M7 and the M8, but they're very good just the same They work really well with this new-fangled 3-D spatial-audio thing when you're shooting video Now there is no headphone jack this time, though, and that's one of those things that doesn't bother me until it does

Now, you can either use Bluetooth headphones or HTC is including some USBC headphones in the box That's smart; good job Now HTC continues to do a really good job with the software Now there's still a lot on here that I don't really like, that I won't use Bloatware apps, whatever

But the good news is none of it gets in the way, none of it slows the phone down in the slightest and none of it breaks anything And I can't say that about other phones that have been released this year Beyond all that, it's just fast, so I can continue to use things the way I want to use them without any problems whatsoever Now the camera HTC has done really, really well with this over the past year or so

We've got a 12 megapixel shooter on the back, 16 on the front Yes, that almost sounds backwards, but it's not because it has a larger sensor for the rear camera They still have this ultrapixel thing going on, where the pixels themselves are larger, let in more light And the software pushing all that has gotten really good as well End of the day, you're going to have great pictures out of this thing, either from the front camera of yourself or from the back camera

And I really enjoyed using it HTC's camera app is really good as well Finally, there's battery life It's absolutely better than the 3000 milli Amp hour capacity would lead you to expect, but then again HTC's gotten their software optimization really good the past couple of years So for me, I've easily been going from sunrise to bedtime getting through just about an entire day with this without having to charge it

So here's the thing about the U11, silly name aside It's one of those phones where we're going to talk about the sum of the parts being greater than the whole The hardware itself is really good The software: really fast, really good battery life Are there some gimmicks? Yeah, the squeezy squeezability thing

The mirror finish looks great, but it doesn't really do anything It's lacking dual cameras of, say, the G6 or the iPhone 7 Plus It just doesn't have that whizzbang screen that the Galaxy S8 has But what you get is a kind of expensive but really good Android smart phone and a really good camera, as well For me it's been about fewer annoyances and just a really good overall experience, and, damn, that just looks nice

If you want more on other smartphones I've looked at this year, go hit up that playlist right there I've got the G6, got the GS8, got some other stuff Don't forget to subscribe, sign up for the newsletter That's it; we'll see you later (upbeat music) Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the prettiest photographer of them all? It's Greg

I'm a (beep) mulberry

– The roasting's not done yet, folks And yes, I know I'm giving the iPhone X a pretty hard time here

I think it's kinda justified from the announcement last week And you know how iPhone fans are You know they cannot wait to brag about the latest and greatest smartphone that they have You know how they're gonna be walking right out of that Apple Store with that Vince McMahon strut, those skinny jeans, and that superiority complex that they have, and they can't wait to come up to you and brag about it, but I'm gonna arm you here with five reasons That's right, one, two, three, four, five reasons why not to buy the iPhone X

And we're gonna start off with the first reason, and that is that display notch I mean, seriously, who designed this phone, Anthony Davis? I mean, I don't get it here To put that notch in front of a beautiful AMOLED display that they're putting into this smartphone and hindering it is just absolutely ridiculous There's absolutely no way possible Steve Jobs would've allowed this phone to exist If somebody walked up with this sort of design and showed that notch right there, they'd probably fire that guy right on the spot, 'cause it's absolutely ridiculous

And there are people trying to defend this Yes, I understanding all the technology of the front-facing camera, everything needed to make Face ID function the way it's supposed to is within there But they could've figured out a way to put that in there by just extending the bezel just a little bit and not interfere with the display and not interfere with the viewing experience Yes, I know you can design around it through software The developers can

Yes, I know you can crop video around it so you don't see it there But when I have a phone and I have a display, I wanna use the whole display I don't wanna have any limitations with that I mean, think about this Let's go back to 2014

There's a phone called the HTC Desire Eye That phone had a 13 megapixel front-facing camera, a master camera in front of it, and they were able to design that camera in the bezel in the front and not interfere with the display experience on a smartphone You mean to tell me with Apple and its infinite amount of cash and its infinite resources to engineers and designers cannot figure that out? Really? I mean, come on I cannot give 'em an excuse for this That should have been done

You don't have to be in the bezel-less race with everyone Add a little bit more bezel; that's fine Find a way to maybe add some gestures to the bezel, be a little bit different Look at HTC and what they did with sort of the squeeze sort of technology on the U11 I know it might be a little bit gimmicky, might not be the best thing, but it's at least an idea, a thought, and I know Apple and their designers and think tank can think of some really clever ways to do it and make it work very well if they wanted to

We don't have to be in this bezel-less race But that display notch, absolutely no excuse for it being there It completely makes the phone more unattractive It's just ridiculous there So that's number one here

Let's jump off of that and let's jump into number two And I won't spend that much time on this because I've already got a video about this, and it's the fact that you have to pay about 85 bucks to get fast-charging on your iPhone X, and on your iPhone 8 as well too Yes, there's going to be third party chargers available I'll quickly say that And we will definitely do a video on those as we get our hands on those as we go through our iPhone coverage here for this year

But the fact that Apple's not including that in the box right with the experience is ridiculous And considering that every single other carrier, excuse me, every single other manufacturer includes this in there with it and no extra charge, it's just absolutely ridiculous that Apple doesn't do that Let me get off of that Watch that rant video You'll hear my whole thoughts on that

So let's go ahead and just jump to number three here The third reason The phone is actually less secure The iPhone X is actually less secure 'cause they removed Touch ID They've given you one less security option here with it

Now, I understand Face ID is where they want you to go They're calling that the future And we've seen this sort of technology before in Android devices, but it seems like they have sort of souped it up and made it better, all those cameras, all the neuron engines, and all that stuff Blah, blah, blah But we don't know how well this is gonna work in real-world use just yet

And some people may not wanna use their face to unlock their phone, so the only other option that they have is to basically to use a PIN or a passcode They don't have a fingerprint sensor option Another with the camera as well too, actually the funny thing is Devin McCourty of the New England Patriots brought this up He has a twin that also plays the NFL He's kind of like, how do I prevent my identical twin from unlocking my phone, especially with Face ID or iPhone X? I wonder how well that's gonna work out there

Maybe it's that advanced and they can figure out the difference between that twins well, it can really do it Be pretty interesting to see if it can I'll give it credit if it does We're not quite sure yet, but who really knows just so far? But to limit the number of security options just doesn't make any sense, especially when you have companies like, well, we'll point to Samsung here that gives you a plethora of options and really tells you it gives a plethora of options of to secure your phone And your phone is your daily computing device

It has everything, all your personal data, information, and things that you need to get through your daily life for most people out there, and you wanna have that as secure as possible And to remove security options, especially when you can make it very easily put that fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone where I think it naturally belongs and add a security feature and keep that going To remove it is just absolutely ridiculous, and I think that's something that's really, really not good for Apple to sort of do that there And another thing, going back into sort of removing that button there and the Touch ID, they could've did something similar to the S8 and kinda put that haptic engine there to give you the feel of a button when you press down on the screen I know somebody would say a copy, but that's fine

It's kind of a cool idea Some people do like having that there I know next hear we're probably gonna be getting the displays that can have the fingerprint sensor underneath it, so they could've easily for now just for now made a stopgap and put it right on the back of the phone It just, it doesn't make any sense I never like when they remove security options and don't give you as many as possible there

So that's number three there Let's go into number four Number four Number four is easy It is the lack of a headphone jack

Yes, I understand that they include an adapter, but I think it's ridiculous that you have to use an adapter And especially if you forget that adapter, unless you have headphones that plug in natively into the Lightning port, you're kind of out of luck unless you have some type of Bluetooth solution to use with your phone And this is coming from an iPhone which has always touted itself as being the best and ultimate entertainment device So, specifically something that's tied to iTunes, Apple Music, and the movies and things like that, to not have something native, the 35 millimeter headphone jack built in, which is what everyone can use, especially if they have some premium headphones they wanna use, it's just simply ridiculous and I'm always gonna knock them for this

Accessorizing things like this is just kinda crazy here I mean, you can put it into a world, and this is a whacked out, whacked out idea I'm not saying this is gonna happen I'm just saying something in theory that could possibly happen If you think about this, the iPhone 8 and iPhone X now have wireless charging into them

Theoretically, Apple could completely seal off the phone and include no ports, include a wireless charger, and make that the only option of where you charge your phone, and anything else you wanna do with it, you have to do wirelessly, and you essentially have to do that using either their accessories or third party accessories, and completely blocking any type of ports or stuff like that I know, that is a ridiculous idea, and I don't think they're going to do it, but I just wanna put that theory out there That could be a possibility maybe somewhere in some really dystopian world, something like that It would be ridiculous, but I just wanted to put the thoughts out there Accessorizing things like this, what they're doing with the fast-charging and what they're doing with the headphones here, it's just kinda ridiculous, I think, in my view

And let's get into number five here to wrap things up, and that is the storage options The fact that the base model is 1,000 bucks and it's only 64 gigs of storage is absolutely ridiculous Considering this thing has a 4K, 60 frames per second video capabilities, and you have dual 12 megapixel cameras, these pictures and images are gonna be large Apps are also kinda big with iOS as well too They have 64 gigs

For somebody that's gonna buy this iPhone X that's probably gonna be more of a power user, that's just ridiculous It should have a minimum of 128 gigabytes to 256 gigabytes in the next model That's the way it should be You're kinda forcing people that are power users to spend the near 1,200 bucks to get the bigger phone just so they have enough storage space available to them There should be more options there

I think they're kinda screwing over their customers there And that's sort of why I'm going over these five reasons why not to buy the iPhone I wanna kinda inform the Apple consumers out there so that they kinda of look at Apple and say, "Hey, we don't like these things here, "and we want you to change these things" And the best way you can obviously get your word across to a lot of these companies, well, one, you can always give them feedback, and, two, you can always choose with your wallet and where you spend your money, and that will always make them change If you're not spending money on these iPhones, on the new iPhone tier, they'll get the hint, change some things around maybe for you guys to give you a better experience

Apple fans should not be taking these type of things really lightly They should be getting a great experience, especially for the money that they pay for it I understand it's Apple tax, but Apple tax shouldn't screw you over, especially when there's so many other companies that offer these same features and same things that I've talked about included in the package So, that's my five reasons If you have any other reasons, questions, comments, concerns, please post them below

Thank you for watching, and always remember to live your tech world in high definition
